The food was okay, BUT.... We went for dinner. We had a calamari salad appetizer, two red curry dishes and a chicken dish. Brown rice instead of white for all three. Standard Thai dishes. No complaints, though there was nothing notable about them either. What bothers me is that when we got the bill, they added $9 for the three small bowls of brown rice. It was never mentioned by the waiter and to our knowledge it wasn't noted on the menu. When I asked our elder chinese waiter about the upcharge, he consoled me by saying "that's what's in the computer, I'm sorry I can't do anything about that." Well, you know what they can do with their computer! If its important to you, you should know that they did not have kids menus. A comment on the atmosphere...its sort of a modern asian version of a deco style diner. Interesting, but they leave all the lights on full blast which kills any sort of ambiance and the warehouse ceilings, and hard floors make it very loud in there. Definitely not worth any meaningful drive to try this place.

Let me tell it to you straight, when this place first opened I was obsessed! I thought it was the best place around... Certainly things have changed. Now nothing is consistent, and the prices are over the top. Service is okay. Now and days there are a lot more places I'd go to before I go back to Mama's. I had high hopes for this place, now its like any other sushi place around.... -2014 ______ Best sushi place I've been to in the broward county area. Sushi isn't always consistent with temperature but its always great going there. Downfall is the service, its slow, they are overwhelmed with other tables. But besides that never had a bad experience, its always good when you go somewhere and the people who are cultured to eat the food, eat there too. -2011

My cousin and I love love love it here !!! The only reason we go is for the food, because the service is horrible ... Plus we always get the same server almost every time . He's a tall Asian man with glasses, comes takes our order and disappears ...I always ask for water with lemon lol and he always just brings water ...when he drops off your food he disappears again, we ask for our check when he finally pops up (never asking if we need anything throughout our meal) he drops it off and stands right by the table waiting for you to pay!!! It's redic !!! Again we love the food but we will never have him as our server again ! Sad part is that we know every time we get him he sux ! Not anymore though!!! Side note -stew pork is the bomb as well as the basil chicken!

My son and I went there on a weekday at 5pm. There was only one other table at the time. We ordered one salad and two entrees, and ask for them to be brought out together. Half an hour later, nothing. We ask the waiter to rush because we have a tennis class to go to. 10 minutes later, the salad came by itself. We were told the chef said we could have this first. We had to ask another lady who does not wear waitress clothes to rush again. Finally got our food after 45 minutes. We were told by people working there that the chef runs the show there. If they are not happy they call in sick the next day. Isn't customer are the boss? Or is it the chef? Where is the real owner? Let alone the food is greasy and average. Will not be back and suggest you find another place to dine as well....unless you want to end up like us.

Great little spot. Food is very good, service is friendly, and price is reasonable. Don't be put off by other reviews, we eat here often.

Mama Asian Noodle Bar is a diner like place in Promenade - Coconut Creek, where you can find some quality asian cuisine. The server was quick but nice. We went on NY eve around 9.30 pm, 30 minutes before closing time but they were courteous enough to accommodate me and my wife. We had a lovely meal and a decent conversation with the waitress. The food: Chicken Samoas: The portion was small for the price. But, we loved the taste and the condiments with it; the peanut sauce and the syrup with cucumber and carrots had the perfect sweetness for the spicy-not-so-spicy samosas. Curried Noodles: The dish was about 11.00 but was loaded with veggies and chicken. The curry sauce tastes similar to the Jamaican spice blend from Badia. Spicy Rice: The dish had good basil flavor with onions, scallions and pepper. We added a little bit of the Sriracha to elevate the flavors to the next level. We love our food spicy. We will be back to explore this place again and try some new items on their menu.

Really love their noodles here. I like their lo-mein and pad thai the best. Now, keep in mind that this is not traditional pad thai by any means, but it is still delicious, and I will still come to take it out. The booths are too low down -- like when you sit, you sink and are too low for the table. In addition, the booths are peeling and look really horrifically bad. There are red flakes everywhere and it makes the place just look gross and dirty, which is sad because everything else inside is so modern and cozy. They really need to fix the booths, and then the restaurant will be perfect. For now though, I prefer to come for lunch and sit up top at the bar area, or just do take out for dinner. General consensus: if you want good take-out in the area, I'd choose this place over some of the other, not as clean asian restaurants around. The wait staff is always super nice and attentive.

My first visit. I found the iced tea to be good, and the food was tasty, and served piping hot. I would visit again.

We go here on a regular basis and always have great food! I have tried a variety of Items but tend to stick to the Chicken Katsu, Pad Siew, Cashew chicken and Pad Thai, They also have a great spring roll and the peanut dressing for the salads is awesome. The sushi is very good and very fresh though I don't eat sushi much I do find I will order from here due to its freshness and just seems better then other sushi I have tried. Why they didn't get 5 stars from me: I do not recommend the Mongolia beef - I tried it once and I didn't like it. Didn't like the meat , didn't like the ridiculous presentation and for what you got it was way overpriced . Someone else in my family tried it and he did not like one thing about it. Really need a kids menu or do the same meals but Kid sized and charge less.

If I could give this less than one star I would. The WORST Thai food ever. Both meals - Ladna and Chicken Cashew looked as if had been boiled in dirty water, BLAND, devoid of all taste - no sauce but a dirty water broth with no flavor, both identical with the exception of different boiled meat and veg. The spring roll looked like something you would get at McDonalds as you can see the pock marked fake chicken with a few flecks of vegetable - it was cold, full of oil and soggy. I'm not sure where the owners are from but this WAS NOT a spring roll by any definition and they should be ashamed to serve this to a dog let alone a paying guest. I was starving tonight and the only thing worth eating was the small box of steamed white rice. $30 worth of food went in the trash tonight - it was INEDIBLE. AVOID THIS PLACE - I cannot believe the decent reviews on here as I have eaten here several times and it can be a 2 star place at best if you are desperate, want asian and eating solely in the promanade shopping plaza. Tonight's take out is our last attempt to give this place a chance - they will never be given our money again.

The sushi is awesome! I highly recommend the Lobster Roll that is served in a huge martini glass with an amazing presentation. Other tables will surely ooh and ahhh as they bring this out to you. I also love the salmon crunch roll. The Soups are really good. I have had the Thai meatball soup which is kind of like pho, and the traditional vietnamese soups. The Shrimp Tempura is ridiculously good so is the tempura vegetable plate. I did not like the Mongolian Beef at all! It didn't remind me of the mongolian beef at PF changs or that I'm used to. They have wine here that is OK, not great. The Sakis are really good and they have a lot to choose from, hot and cold. This place is on the expensive side; however, I like it enough that I eat here a lot and order take out as well.

Me and my bro were hungry and just coming out of Starbucks and we see this resto just nearby in the coconut creek promenade which happens to be one of my favorite plaza. So we are sat down and we had to eat quickly because we had to go. So after like 15 mins they finally attended to us and it wasn't that busy. I got the tom soup and my bro go the volcano roll and another soup dish. The quality was very good and spicy just like how I like it. We were sitting next to the window and they were ants! Hay naku I killed like 3 of them waiting for our food. Don't know if I would come back here, ill just go to lime next to Starbucks. At least you line up, order your food, and you just wait. At least they had free WiFi so I could write this review. Could've been better!

Went there last night with my fiance and had a bad experience. The service was very slow. We ordered an appetizer of samosas and both ordered the noodle bowls. The waitress told us about 15 mins after ordering that they were out of samosas. Very disappointing. Then when the food arrived, it was disappointing as well.

Friendly Staff. Service was great! Food was even better!!! My husband had the Chicken with peanut sauce, I had the Chicken sweet and sour, and our 2 year old had the Chicken Lo Mein.

Loved this place because the food is delicious...BUT...tonight proved the owners are poor business people. Ordered for pick up using menu on their website. Ordered 2 pad thai combos for $14 each, curry noodles for $13. Get the bill, they've charged $2 extra for each dish! Took the tab, showed them the menu on their website compared to the bill. Waitress said, "oh, website not updated but our register is. Price went up." I explained that they should charge me what was on the website menu since they haven't corrected it. She claimed they can't do anything about it, despite my showing her the menu. Owner stepped in claiming to be only an employee saying she couldn't do anything, that it wasn't her fault the website was wrong. At this point, it wasn't about the money anymore, after all it was $6. But, now it was about customer service, poor service that is. Despite how good the food is, the owner and her staff showed they don't care about return customers. My husband and I won't patronize Mama Noodle any longer because they demonstrated lack of ownership for their mistake.

My boyfriend has been raving about this place forever and I finally went with him last night. We had the Vietnamese fresh rolls as an appetizer, they were excellent. They came with two sauces which were also great, one spicy, one sweet. We both had the spicy coconut noodle (he always orders this when he goes). Let me just say IT WAS SO SO GOOD! I was just there last night, and I already want this dish again. The service was great and the place was very clean and nicely kept. I will definitely be returning again and again.

The staff was inattentive and the food was only fair and not a value for the money. Too many other places in the area, and even I'd there weren't I would not be back here. Two stars is fair, food was edible but very forgettable.

I ordered Pad Thai Chicken. It came with chicken soup with cucumber which taste bland as its sound. The soup contained ground chicken and cubed cucumber in a broth. The Pad Thai Chicken was delicious! I came for lunch and it was a perfect portion.

Delicious food and relaxing outdoor seating! Loving the concept of the new outdoor shopping malls...makes you feel like you are on vacation... The quality of the food is as high as the value! Well done!

Not sure why this place only has 3 stars. We've had a little of everything here (noodle bowls, sushi, thai dishes) and everything is great. The food is super fresh and the flavors are great. My fiancé and I often share each other's food because we have plate envy. The service is great and the staff is friendly. You can either eat inside or outside.

To be clear, I think the food is actually quite good but after three times, I've just found that the service just makes the experience not worth it and won't be returning. Went there this weekend with my family (4 of us). We ordered appetizers which arrived in timely fashion. The entrees is where the issue came up. Three of us ordered entrees and my wife ordered spring rolls as her main meal. Two of us received our meals and finished eating before the other two were even served. My wife & daughter were left waiting. My wife finally received her spring rolls but I was surprised that a small appetizer-style dish took so long to make. My daughter had ordered a steak dish and when it still hadn't arrived after quite a bit of time, I finally approached the manager who told me the dish had been given to another customer by mistake and they would have my daughter's dish shortly. They were very apologetic and even offered a free dessert because of the inconvenience. So I accepted it. Unfortunately, when the dish finally arrived, the steak was completely under cooked (basically rare) and not edible. It was evident that they rushed it due to the mixup. We just decided to return the dish entirely. I think had they been more forthcoming and told us about the mixup, it could've been a better experience. Instead, the waitress told us that the steak was taking long because it was being cooked "well done". While it was nice of them to give us a free dessert and apologize, we've haven't received any consistent level of service here and won't be coming back. And that's sad because the food is very good. Their pad thai is one of the best I've tasted. I think if they're able to solve their service issues, it'd be a great place to recommend.

Food is always very well prepared. Spicy fried rice with tofu is excellent !. Thai curries like basil sauce and cashew nut are among my other favorites at this place. Staff is always courteous and friendly.

I tried this again thinking that since the food was good last time the service was probably a fluke. We were seated for 10 minutes without so much as being offered a drink. We watched a table come in after us and get drinks and order. Still nobody came over. I saw a server sitting down doing nothing as well as cleaning a dirty table but totally ignored us. We told them exactly why we were leaving and weren't even offered an apology. No response whatsoever. Never again!

A friend took me here for lunch one afternoon. I'm giving MAMA Asian Noodle Bar 3 stars because the food was excellent but the service sucked. The food tasted very good and the presentation was nice. However, the place needs to re-train their servers. My friend and I repeated our orders twice to make sure everything was correct. Because the server's English was weak. Somehow they still brought out the wrong soup. When we asked the server if this was tom yum soup... He snapped back at us saying, "you ordered this noodle soup!" We kindly said that we had ordered a small cup of tom yum soup and this was a clear broth noodle soup without any seafood. He eventually brought us the right soup towards the end of our meal. I would come back to this place only because the food is really good. Check it out if you get the chance and be the judge.

Where to start....my boyfriend and I were intrigued by the nice decor in the restaurant. Being Vietnamese we definitely know good authentic Vietnamese food. The sriracha sauce was so watered down that I had to pour out half a bottle into my bowl. My boyfriend ordered beef beef noodle soup and I ordered the duck noodle soup. Both were horrible...the worst Vietnamese dishes I ate in my life.it was so sweet that I only ate three bites. My boyfriend had four spoon full of noodles in his whole bowl. The waitress even said the food was very sweet ... Goes to show that this placed sucked ass!! Dot waste your money here!!

I really enjoy eating at MAMA Asian Noodle Bar. The interior is warm and welcoming and has unique red and white decor. The service is always very good, and I feel like a valued guest. The manager thanked me for visiting and shook my hand as I was leaving on my most recent visit. The restaurant is a "little sister" to COCO Asian Bistro in Ft Lauderdale - same owner / chef. They have delicious Asian noodle dishes - Thai (my favorite), Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese. They have sushi and soups as well. The prices are surprisingly affordable for a place that feels upscale. It's in the Promenade at Coconut Creek - a really neat shopping center. There is inside and outside seating. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I ate at Mama's last Friday night, it was crowded and we had the Thai chicken satay for an appetizer, very hot and right off the grill! We shared a dragon roll which on a scale of 1-10 was a 9! Best I have had...My wife also had the pad Thai, which was very good, will be coming back soon. Only caveat was the prices..

Sorry...tried to like it...close to home...great to sit outdoors....first food was not hot...even soup...my daughter couldn't even eat the soup...too sweet...my edamame..so so and not hot at all...my noodle dish..sounded amazing, spicy, vegies, chicken, etc....blah...no spice...then the bill comes and I get charged $7 for wine the menu says is $6...not even worth mentioning...just will not go back...EVER....this was my second try. One star for outside seating.

Middle of the road noodle bar. ambiance is rather weak. You can tell the restaurant is on the low end and resembles a dinner more than a noodle bar. The food was good, but some was bland. Fried Calamari was great; however there wasn't much of it for $9. Oh how I wish there was a Soba Ya in Florida.

The food was surprisingly delicious. The restaurant has a very modern decor but missing a spark. The service is good but not five star which is why I gave it a 4.

First time I tried this place, and it was pretty darn good. We started with the tom kha gai soup and the calamari salad, which was damn good. We also ordered the basil stir fry. Everything was fresh and delicious and had zero issues with the service. Yes, the booths were shabby but we simply moved to the bar, and all was good. Actually, sitting at the bar is a good call as you see them prepare your meal from scratch. Only makes you hungrier. Good place and I will be back.

This place could be so much better! Love the curry noodle soup bowl. But they don't honor their menu-posted lunch specials are only M-F even though it says 7 days a week, several times my sushi rolls are served incorrectly and missing ingredients posted on the menu. They tried charging us for the food we sent back due to it not matching what the menu said. I've seen the owners argue with other customers over my same issues. They are rude to customers, as well. No children's options and several sneaky up charges for items not ordered or prices not noted in the menu. The explain they have to charge it bc of their computer??? Ambiance is meh. We don't go here anymore...I don't like to go out to dinner to have to haggle my check every time. Save that for buying a car. Annoying...

I've come often to this place. The pad Thai is the best I tried in Florida since I went to Bangkok. If you really want to eat something really good have the chicken Pad Thai it tastes like authentic. The Boba tea is also good. Sushi rolls are ok.

  • Bree L.

We are regulars here for their coconut curry soup. It is pretty much the only thing we order. We mostly do takeout because we've had not so great dine in experiences in the past. The restaurant is always clean. They keep raising their prices (which is crazy with Ethos next door). Pad thai is ok. My husband tried the ramen and said it was ok. The sushi can be tricky. When I have ordered rolls in the past there is always a discrepancy of what is listed on the menu vs what is served. The woman (owner?) who is always there is not hospitable or concerned about making it right the times we've complained. This same woman makes the drinks and bubble tea which I do not recommend...she skimps on the base and tastes awful if it is too watery. She didn't care when I complained.

    (3)
  • Samantha R.

I really loved this place until they change one of the sushi rolls. I always came for there lobster roll ($26) which came with seaweed salad, vegetable and lobster tempura and a giant huge tower of tempura, which you really don't need but it was worth the 26 dollars for sure. But now all you get is the lobster roll with some veggie tempura and that's all. The bubble tea is not my favorite. It taste like they just mixed flavored powder with water. I still do come here despite my huge disappointment in my favorite roll, because the other sushi and the noodle bowls are good. That's why I'm giving them 3 stars.

Mamas noodles needs some help understanding the flavors and tastes that may appeal to their core consumer market. With lackadaisical service, uninspired dishes, and poor food quality, I'm not sure how much longer these guys can make it in this expensive location. I should tell you Yelpers, I feel bad about writing this review because this appears to be a family run business, with a passionate owner that is very concerned about her customers, but cannot seem to connect the dots. I'm hoping she takes a moment to read this review, as I will try to connect the ones I can. If something doesn't change fast, I fear there won't be much left to talk about. We ordered a Chicken Satay Appetizer, the Chicken Fried Rice, and one of the Chicken Ramen Pho style noodle bowls (I forget the name). The chicken satay was quite good, but nothing special. The Chicken Fried Rice tasted strange and was simply not good. The Chicken Pho style soup with ramen noodles had a tasty broth but came with fried chicken (see picture) which was frankly, gross and inedible. I was expecting something light and vibrant but with very few vegetables and a piece of fried chicken with the fried batter coming off and dissolving in the broth, it was surprisingly terrible. I'm not sure if this is a traditional dish, but it seemed unhealthy and poorly contrived. I should mention that I told our server that this was our first time and asked his opinion before ordering, but his only response was "you just want soup?" as if the item I was ordering was not expensive enough for his liking. This brings me to my next issue, the service. After following signs that said "go to front counter to be seated" while passing a few servers that were talking by the door outside that ignored us as we entered, we had a short, broken English conversation with the hostess and were seated at a booth as requested. After waiting some 10 minutes or so (and they were not busy) our waiter lazily strolled over and took our drink order. He was not rude, but he acted as if he was half-listening to us like something else going on was more important. I mentioned that it was our first time and we would like some advice ordering. He had a "Yea... So what" attitude and aloofly agreed with the dishes we asked about with his only comment (as mentioned above) "you only want noodle soup?". "Its a noodle bar right?" I replied. With that he strolled off to disappear for another 15 minutes before returning. When he noticed that I was taking pictures of the food, he did seem a bit more interested in us, but I think he was either tired or just doesn't like his job. The second part shouldn't be a problem for much longer, because with food and service like this, it won't take long. One last note was that there was an elderly straggly haired oriental woman at the bar area in front of the kitchen that seemed to be the owner or manager of the place. I did see her talking to one group of customers although she did not come by to speak with us. She did seem to be trying very hard, but I don't think her attire or appearance was appropriate for this stylish, modern looking venue. She was wearing house clothes (like an old sweater and off color polyester pants) while all of the other employees were in a black uniform. I don't mean to pick on her, but with unkept hair and inappropriate attire, she just didn't represent the business well and didn't help the image of the business. A simple change of attire and use of a hair brush would help a lot. Strangely, the receipt had a survey on it, where I was quite honest. I marked "poor" for food and service and even left my phone number for them to call me back. I've waited a week now before leaving this review and I have not received a call. Overall, the food was weird and not enjoyable (save the chicken satay appetizer), and the service was slow, aloof, and poorly trained. I won't be back here as there is just no reason to go back, and I'm sad about that. The venue is really cool-modern and I hope the next management team that takes over this restaurant when the current owner closes the business does a better job. I like this area and would love to find a healthy, oriental restaurant to eat in this fun outdoor mall. Overall, I'll give MAMA's Noodle Bar 2 Stars and that's being very generous.

I personally did not enjoy this place at all. Ordered sushi...a simple California roll and it was disgusting. The rice was super chewy, the meal was room temperature and the waitress didn't seem to understand a word I was saying. The reason I gave this place such a low rating was because any hole in the wall can make a California roll, it's kind of hard to mess up. This place however, failed with flying colors. Not recommended. Not for sushi at least.

The food is good. Just good. Not great and not amazing. Penang curry had good flavor but was served warm and not hot. This led me to believe the sauce was just a warm up and go sauce. The chicken had a freezer burn taste :( Had a glass of red wine and it was chilled pretty cold. Not what I'm used to. The ginger dressing and small salad were tasty. I loved the dressing. Service wasn't great. Slow and wrong. I won't run back here.

I have been on the search for a noodle bar and FINALLY found it. Everyone working is thai so dont try to understand what they say to each other! A great staff for sure! I ordered the curry coconut lime soup which was DELICIOUS! It was exactly what i wanted and it was HUGE! The broth was delicious and coconutty and curryish. I really enjoyed it! It even had a 1/2 hard boiled egg in the soup. The veggies in the soup were so fresh! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I will return for sure. One think i did mention to the staff is that there is no where to hang your purse under the counter, They said they would look into installing hooks for purses. Other than that 5 stars from me!!!

Went for lunch on the weekend. They were busy but we were able to get seated right away and the service was good. I had the chicken pad thai combi with miso soup, 4 pieces of California roll, two pieces of sashimi and an egg roll. The pad thai was good. I had to add some of the red pepper flakes to it to spice it up. There was nothing special about the sushi but it tasted good We also had the red curry and it was delish.

So good! Love the lunch bento boxes even available during the weekend! You get 4 pcs sushi, pud Thai, veg tempura and salad for 12 bucks. Definitely leftovers to take home. Other choices too.

The food here is great, but overpriced. Very poor customer service and orders take forever. I had a terrible experience because the prices on their website do not match the prices on the menu at the establishment. Instead of being understanding and adjusting the price when I picked up my order, the staff (possibly the owners) proceeded to tell me that they cancelled their website subscription 10 years ago and that the price I was showing them on THEIR website was not valid. I told the staff that they should really look into correcting the website issue. My order took longer than expected but I was hungry so I paid and left!! I will NEVER dine at this establishment again!!! If you want amazing sushi and wonderful service, go to Hamachi on Sample Rd. and Coral Springs dr.

We finally decided to try this place out after going the Promenade so many times. We kept thinking it was a sushi place and we are not into sushi. We finally realized they had Thai dishes! We went there for lunch which is how we try out places we might be interested in. We ordered Pad Thai and Chicken Fried Rice and shared them between us. The dishes had plenty of food for both of us and we even had leftovers. They served a very tasty Miso soup and i tried their green tea which had a very unique flavor. Our waiter was very nice and the restaurant is clean and stylish. I highly recommend it and we intend to return for dinner soon.

The food is good. The service is lacking. They seem to be very confused, even when there are not too many people in the place. My husband ordered a seafood salad to start. It was pretty good. For being a "noodle bar" I wasn't impressed with the amount of noodle selections. I tried a new noodle dish called the Ba Mee Ladna. It was a simple noodle with lots of veggies. If I were to go back I think I would try a more traditional pad thai. My husband had the red curry thai hot and they did not disappoint. If you like spicy this is a place that will actually give you a spicy dish.

My brother turned me on to this place about 2 years ago while I was still living in fl and I fell in love with the spicy coconut noodle soup. I would get it whenever I wanted comfort-type food. When I moved to charlotte NC in February, I looked for something similar and found nothing. When I come home to visit my first stop is always to get my noodles and I try to have it again before going back up because I crave it! Great food, servers are always friendly and prices aren't terrible for an Asian bar (and for a place in the promenade).

I tried Mama noodles because I was heading to World of Beer next door for a meetup. This did not disappoint, though I cannot speak for the other dishes, the Curry Noodles were outstanding and full of flavor. Though not necessarily authentic in terms of presentation, the flavors did take components from different asian cultures into a fine dish. I highly recommend this place for pasta, or noodle lovers. On a side note, I've noticed the 1 star reviews of people who actually like the food but not the service...you don't give 1 stars for that, because you could do takeout.

Came to this place with no expectations and I have the say the food was really tasty! We started off with a Lemongrass Coconut Sake which probably was better suited for Dessert than dinner... but it was equally tasty. For entree, my fiancee and I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and the Sushi Combo Dinner (Chef choice). The Pad Thai was tasty and was a good sized portion.. The sushi combo consisted of sushi and sashimi (tuna, yellow fin, salmon, and shrimp).. It was a HUGE plate for $19.. Could not finish it, even with the help! I wanted to like this place more but the decor and atmosphere was just off. The waiter was very polite but I wish the place had a better vibe. I don't know maybe different music, or add curtains, wall art, or SOMETHING!! I just wanted more from the environment ... But the food is excellent and will probably be back! :-)

When I browsed over the menu I thought it was a bit pricey until I received my order. There was ALOT of food. Arranged on my oversized plate were, three sticks which all three were Panko breaded including sweet potato, zuchini, and a large prawn. Also included in my $12 arrangement was Pad Tai, three different sauces and crab and veggie filled sushi rolls. I was full halfway through but finished just about everything. It was so good. The service was good. I tend to drink ALOT of water and our server was always there to refill our drinks. They offer a few different types of tea that most places do not. The owners didn't, by any means come even close to their furniture budget in this place. We each sunk at least 6" into our seats. The top layer of the booth seats was 90% peeled off and quite frankly don't recall any artwork on the walls. Which for the Prominade, was surprising since most establishments here are more upscale. The food however made up for the lack of decor after the first bite. If it was up to the decor, I would be in no hurry to go back but the food and portion size was very good.

3:18pm we came here for lunch. How I know the exact time? Because lunch special ends at 3pm as we noted in the menu. What could have been $8.95 was now $14. Which is really not bad, considering portions aren't small still, it would have been nice to save and will keep it in mind for next time. The man who seated us was our server too. He was, sorry to say, pushy and annoying. He didn't even give us 5 minutes to look through the menu before he was asking us to place our order. When I said we needed a bit of time he looked annoyed. I don't even know why, place wasn't busy... He just lingered, walking around our table until we were ready to order. I had the Niku - Part of their 'Broth Noodle' section - udon noodles, beef, seaweed, and scallions. My Mom had the Chicken Lo Mein. We both loved our dishes, if it was based solely on food I would have given this place 5 stars but, server just didn't make this possible. I needed a spoon for my noodles, and now our sever was M.I.A. But as soon as he saw we were almost done, he brought our check (without asking if we wanted anything else) and did not leave until I gave him my credit card. Can I at least finish eating? Ugh! Really good food but terrible service (at least from this man). I will probably give them another try making sure he's not near my table again.

I so wanted to go to a noodle house as I haven't been to one in years. I was sadly disappointed as was my entire party of 6. The only noodle that was not overdone was the pad thai. Everything else was salty and overcooked. Not a do again.

Same owners as Coco Asian Bistro, and you can tell, since from the second you walk in you see Coco everywhere (employee shirts, menu covers, etc.) and wonder if you are in the right place. The Promenade hasn't hooked these guys up with a sign yet, either, so the only way you know you have arrived is by the handwritten-in-Sharpie signs taped to the window that say "Mama now open"... I am sure these things will be resolved once the place gets off its feet, but it seems like it was rushed to open before they had all their chickens hatched. Our food was good -- we were just looking for something simple -- but definitely not worth the cost of the outing. 2 orders of pad thai with 2 miso (ahh, pan-asian cuisine) came to over $40 after tip. Miso had scallion in it, for a little extra kick. Shrimp was a little bit off; did not have that fresh taste. Overall, a good portion size, with not too much leftover. A server came by with a sample tray of banana wontons. We definitely enjoyed them, although we did not order them later...no room for dessert! It did seem a little odd to have a banana taste between soup & entree. Mama was good, and we enjoyed our food, but the pricing is not competitive with more "upscale" establishments in the area. Perhaps they are trying to fit into the Promenade's faux-high-class motif, but this isn't Collins Ave., it's Lyons. All in all, we'd come back, but maybe try something different or more exciting next time.

Stopped by for lunch to order takeout before heading to WOB. The guy at the reception area wasn't the friendliest but ah well. Ordered the chicken and shrimp pad thai along with chicken spring rolls. Both of my selections were super yummy. Their pad thai was probably the best I'd ever had. Craving some right now actually. Would I go back? Definitely. Good food and affordable prices.

Went there last night for dinner, it was my daughter pick since it was her birthday. We were seat immediately and our drink orders taken. Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. Beware that on their menu they charge for drink refills, however, our waitress did not (she was great). We ordered the tempura chicken & veggies as a starter. It was delicious, perfect temp, texture and not greasy. Everyone enjoyed them...there were even more than 3 of each item (indicated on menu) which we suspect was based on our waitress (there were 4 in our party). They do not have a kids menu so we had our kids share the chicken lo mein. My husband also ordered a customized version of the chicken lo mein and I had the panang curry chicken. The main courses arrived just as our app dishes were cleared, which was fantastic. The portions are large which was perfect for the kids to share 1 dish. Everything came out perfect, even the special orders. Food was great, one of the best panang currys I have had and the lo mein were delicious. The staff and manager were very friendly and came by to greet us and especially my kids. It was an overall great dinner. Reason why I am not giving 5 stars is the price, dinner was a little pricey and the fact they don't have a kids menu. We will definitle be back but maybe during lunch!

I've come often to this place. The pad Thai is the best I tried in Florida since I went to Bangkok. If you really want to eat something really good have the chicken Pad Thai it tastes like authentic. The Boba tea is also good. Sushi rolls are ok.

Annoying...
